OUR LOVE LETTER

We're writing to you from New York. The collection is coming along beautifully. Right now we're making the final decisions, the kind most people will never notice unless we get them wrong.

While we're here, we wanted to tell you something about how we name things. We use real names — women who shaped us, who taught us how to move through the world, dressed for it. This collection is a love letter to them.

You already know two of them. The Dolores Blazer and the Lola Pant carry the names of our grandmother and our mother. While you're reading this, maybe ask yourself: who shaped you? What was their name?

We just think a garment you'll keep for years deserves more than a label. Naming something is a kind of promise. It means this was made by people, for a person, with someone specific in mind. Not for volume. On purpose. Rigorous in the making, fluid enough to live in, with a little unruly joy built into every piece.
